What is Epclusa?

Epclusa is an antiviral medication that contains sofosbuvir and velpatasvir used in the prevention of the hepatitis C virus (HCV) from multiplying in your body in Adults and children of 6 years and above age.

Uses of Epclusa

Epclusa used in treatment and prevention of:

• Hepatitis c.
• Liver cirrhosis (with the comb to other medication)

Side effects of Epclusa

Some common side effects of Epclusa

• Tiredness.
• Headache.
• Nausea.
• Diarrhea.
• Difficulty sleeping.

Precautions

• Make sure you are not allergic to Epclusa.
• Tell your doctor about your medical history.
• Before going under surgery tell your doctor about the medication.
